A Associação de Karatedo Seigokan de Portugal (AKSP) fundada em 1980 e registada em 1996, é a representante oficial em Portugal da All Japan Seigokan Karatedo Association, com sede na cidade de Himeji, no Japão, encontrando-se filiada na Federação Nacional de Karaté. Com origem na Escola de Budo em Sapadores, fundada pelo Mestre Mitsuharu Tsuchiya em 1975, nasce em Portugal com a vinda em 1976 do Mestre Katsumune Nagai, Campeão da Seigokan no Japão. A sua precedente organizativa do estilo foi a Associação de Portugal Seigokan Nagai-Kai, criada em 1978. Visa o fomento da prática e divulgação deste estilo de Karatedo Goju-Ryu, promovendo a formação integral do ser humano nas componentes Física, Mental e Espiritual, na perspectiva da Via ou Do.

The Portuguese Seigokan Karatedo Association (AKSP) established in 1980 and registered in 1996, is the official representative in Portugal of the All Japan Seigokan Karatedo Association, witch headquarters is in the city of Himeji, Japan, and integrates the National Karate Federation of Portugal. With origin in the School of Budo in Sapadores, Lisbon, founded by Master Mitsuharu Tsuchiya in 1975, was born in Portugal with the coming in 1976 of Master Katsumune Nagai, Champion of the Seigokan in Japan. Its precedent organization of the style was the Nagai-Kai Seigokan Portugal Association, created in 1978. It aims at the promotion of practical and the spreading of this style of Goju-Ryu Karatedo, promoting the integral formation of the human being in the components Physical, Mental and Spiritual, in the perspective of the Way or Do.
